Katharine Whalen (Squirrel Nut Zippers) will be exhibiting her Show Poster Art at Chapel Hill Comics during the first week of October 2009. There will be a reception on Friday October 2nd from 6-8 PM with a musical performance by the artist at 7 PM. This performance will be a short presentation of Parlor Folk songs based on the “Book of Knowledge”, a children’s encyclopedia set published in 1923.

There will be prints of Ms. Whalen’s art available for purchase and available for you to take away with you.  They will be very affordably priced, and in limited quantities, so we suggest showing up early in the evening!

Yotsuba&! volume 6 is finally going to be up in this mug! This is our best-selling manga series. It’s appropriate for all ages, and it’s delightful. How delightful is it?
